The following improvements are being proposed within Segment 4:

• Future Transportation Corridor
• Modify I-35 ramps
• Add collector-distributor roads
• Implement Texas Super Street concept
• Modify/reconstruct bridges
• Widen outside lanes of all I-35 Frontage Roads for bicycles
• Complete sidewalk connections

Proposed improvements for each intersection within Segment 4 include the following:

Airport Boulevard

• Northbound and southbound ramp modifications
• Reconstruct northbound and southbound collector-distributor roads
• Intersection improvements at I-35 and Airport Boulevard
  • Diverging Diamond Intersection
• Bicycle and pedestrian improvements for east-west connectivity

41st Street to Manor Road

• New northbound and southbound turnaround lanes
• Texas Super Street
• U-turn bridge construction at East 38 ½ Street, East 32nd Street, and Manor Road
• Bicycle and pedestrian improvements for east-west connectivity
