Future Transportation Corridor (FTC)

We are working to determine if it is feasible to add an additional mainlane in each direction. No assumption is made regarding the nature of these future lanes. They could be general purpose lanes, High Occupancy Vehicle lanes, toll lanes or a combination of these.

Concept

• Provide one additional through lane in each direction (SH 45 N to SH 45 SE)
• Lane function to be determined: General purpose, High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV), Express lane/transit lane

• Increases mainlane capacity
• Improves mobility along corridor
• Increases reliability
