This project will construct improvements to the northbound I-35 frontage road to Cameron Road.

Purpose and Need

  • Need for reconnection of northbound frontage road to Cameron Road and 53rd Street

  • Improved connection from the northbound I-35 frontage road to Cameron Road

Funding

  • 2010 city of Austin transportation bond and state funding
  • Construction cost estimate: $3 million

Schedule

  • Construction start: fall 2014
  • Construction duration: approximately 12 months
