I-35 at US 183
Overview
The schematic and environmental process is underway for the addition of two new direct connectors from I-35 to US 183. The project would add a direct connector between southbound I-35 and southbound US 183. Another direct connector would be added between northbound US 183 and northbound I-35. Associated ramping, frontage road and mainlane improvements would also be included.
Purpose and Need
- Allow direct access for northbound and southbound traffic between I-35 and US 183

- Additional direct connector between southbound I-35 and southbound US 183
- Additional direct connector between northbound US 183 and northbound I-35
- Associated ramping, frontage road and mainlane improvements
- Improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities
